Competing Colours

Part of a collaboration with Toby Cornish (Jutojo) and composers from the National Youth Orchestra, in which 8 short films were made for Harp and Bicycle, around the theme of the Tour de France.
In each film, the bicycle was used as a main element in the filming process, either as a mark-making tool, or filming device. Here LED lights were filmed spinning on a bicycle wheel, and layered to create coloured ‘teams’ that race and ‘paint’ 3D in real space.
